Build the systems Africa runs on
We're looking for engineers, analysts and security people who want their work to matter to the institutions that serve millions of people.
Why work with us
Work that matters
The systems you build here run ministries, banks, schools and hospitals. People depend on them every day.
Learn the whole system
Software, networks, data and security all sit under one roof. You'll see how every layer connects.
Do it properly
We test, document and secure what we build, and we hand over systems clients can own. Craft is expected here.
Grow with us
We're a young African company with big plans. Your ideas can shape how we work and what we build next.
Open positions
Internships and industrial training
Our founder started Kent Systems Africa to give young Africans a reason to believe they can build serious systems. Internships are part of that promise.
We welcome applications from university and college students who need an internship or industrial training placement, and from recent graduates looking for their first role.

How to apply
Email your CV, your institution's placement letter (if you have one) and a few lines about something you've built or fixed, even a small project. Use the subject "Internship application" and name your area.
Placements depend on our current projects, so we can't take everyone. We reply to every application.
How we hire
A clear, respectful process. You'll always know where you stand.
Apply
Send your CV and a short note by email. We confirm we've received it.
Conversation
A short call about your experience, interests and what you're looking for.
Practical task
A small, realistic exercise in your field, never unpaid client work.
Meet the team
A final conversation with the people you'd work with, then our decision.
What we look for
Curiosity, care for detail, honesty about what you don't know yet, and the ability to explain technical things in plain language.
Equal opportunity
We hire on ability and character. We welcome applicants of every background, gender, region and ability, and we're committed to growing women in technology.
Your data
We use application details only to consider you for a role. Read how we handle them in our Privacy notice.

Send us your CV anyway. When a role that fits you opens, we'll get in touch.
